With over ten years of professional experience divided between the public and private sectors, Fatma brings a rare combination of legal expertise, strategic insight, and cross-sector leadership.
💼 During her first five years in the public sector, Fatma served at the Delegation of the European Union to Albania, where she advised on EU procurement and contract rules, supporting large-scale programs in infrastructure, governance, and justice reform. Her work provided her with a deep understanding of European compliance frameworks, transparency mechanisms, and the full project life cycle of EU-funded initiatives.
⚖️ In the private sector, Fatma has held senior legal and managerial positions at leading international companies, including Global Tech I Offshore Wind GmbH, Fluence Energy (a Siemens Energy company), 50Hertz Transmission GmbH, and Barclays Bank Ireland PLC. In these roles, she specialized in contract and claim management, advising on tendering, EPCI and FIDIC contracts, and commercial risk strategies for major offshore wind and renewable energy projects.
🎓 Fatma holds a European Master in Law and Economics (LL.M.), jointly awarded by Erasmus University Rotterdam and Hamburg University. She is fluent in English, German, Italian, French, Spanish, and Albanian, enabling her to navigate and lead effectively in diverse international environments.
